New research: top five habits making small businesses a target for cyber crime

New research from the Cyber Wardens program has revealed the top five cyber security habits among Australian small businesses that make them vulnerable to an online attack.

The study, based on a survey of more than 2,000 Australian small businesses, highlights common pitfalls that could expose them to potential threats, data breaches and financial losses as they return to work from the summer holidays.

The positive news is that small business owners and team members can build good everyday habits that increase their cyber safety and decrease the chances a cyber criminal can break into their business.

Your business’ cyber security is only as strong as the good habits each team member practises so we encourage you to share with your colleagues and start building cyber-safe habits together.
