4. What does it mean to pre-qualify for cyber insurance?
Pre-qualifying for cyber insurance means your business has already met key security standards that insurers look for when deciding on coverage. With a Silver certification, you can get:
- A quicker and easier application process
- Priority with our partner insurance companies
- Proof that you have important security measures in place
- A better chance at getting good coverage terms
Pre-qualification helps simplify the often complex insurance process. It shows insurers that your business has taken steps to reduce risk, so they may not need to check everything themselves.
Keep in mind that Silver certification, through our CyberCert partnership, doesn’t guarantee approval, coverage, or specific terms with all insurers. Each insurer will still do their own final review. For the latest details, contact CyberCert directly.

The Cyber Wardens program requires no technical expertise. We designed it specifically for business owners and managers without IT backgrounds, using straightforward language and structured guidance throughout the process. CyberCert certification does involve some technical implementation. However, you have multiple support options to manage these requirements: - A team member with relevant IT knowledge - Your existing technology service provider - A qualified specialist from our network of professionals The Bronze level certification involves configuring essential security elements such as antivirus protection and administrative access controls. CyberCert provides comprehensive guidance through each step of implementation, and most businesses already maintain relationships with technology partners who can assist with these requirements.
