I see other organisations charge for their course whereas Cyber Wardens is free. How is the course being funded?
Cyber Wardens is an initiative of the Council of Small Business Organisations of Australia (COSBOA), supported by the Australian Government and an industry alliance led by Telstra, CommBank and the Australian Cyber Security Centre. Our mission is to inspire every Australian small business to train and support their own Cyber Security Warden. We do this by offering quick, accessible and free training to small business owners and employees to help them defend against cyber attacks.
Will there be other courses in the future?
Yes! Taking the Level One Cyber Wardens course is just the first step towards protecting your small business against cyber threats. Once you complete the training, we will keep you updated on new program developments and send cyber safety news and tips for your business.
I don't have a lot of time to study and I'm not tech-savvy. Will I still be able to complete the course?
The Cyber Wardens online course is made for busy small businesses and takes only 45 minutes to complete. No buzz, no jargon - just practical and quick cyber safety solutions to help you and your team protect your business and keep cyber criminals out.
“There are nearly 55,000 Restaurant & Cafe businesses in Australia and around 92% of them are small businesses. Restauranters and Cafe owners are time poor, prefer to be customer facing and focused, and can’t afford to be impacted by cyber security threats. This quick course will help you to build confidence & gain critical knowledge to safeguard your business.”
